Join Offshore Sailing School Instructors for a Week of Learning, Tasting, Living Well, and Having Fun

Enjoy the camaraderie of like-minded women who love the outdoors, learn a new skill, and take care of mind and body while enjoying fine wines and great food. Spend the week sailing and socializing with the Offshore Sailing School team of expert women sailing instructors.

If you are curious about sailing, with limited or no sailing experience, or have crewed but want to learn more, this is the perfect getaway!

How This Special Week for Women-Only Unfolds

You start your week with the 3-day Learn to Sail Course aboard Offshore Sailing School’s Colgate 26 sailboats. You sail morning and afternoon with a break ashore for lunch – Monday through Wednesday.

Then the fun continues . . .

• Sunday: Arrive at the airport on Beef Island/Tortola (EIS) mid-afternoon and check into beautiful Scrub Island Resort, Spa & Marina at 4:00 pm.
  • Sip & Snack: You have the option to take the resort’s complimentary ferry to Marina Cay for a Beach Party with live music from 1-5 pm. Then, gather at a fun get acquainted meet and greet party with your instructors at 6 pm by the main pool bar.
• Monday Sail: 8:30 am morning sailing instruction, break for lunch ashore, then head back out for afternoon sailing session until 5:30 pm.
  • Sip & Dine dinner tonight paired with your choice of beveerage at the resort’s Cardamom & Co. Restaurant, using the resort credit applied to your room account. Learn about our instructors’ sailing adventures and ask questions.
• Tuesday Sail: Morning sailing instruction, break for lunch ashore, then back out on the water for the afternoon sailing session. Evening free to dine with classmates at the resort or Marina Cay.
• Wednesday Sail: Morning sailing instruction, break for lunch ashore, then back out on the water for the final afternoon sailing session.
  • Sip & Snack graduation reception with appetizers and wine or island drink at One Shoe Bar on North Beach. You have the option to stay for cocktails and a Pig Roast Buffet at the amazing North Beach Festival, featuring a bonfire and dancing. Pre-registration is required.
• Thursday: Sleep late, work out in the fitness center, go for a hike, swim, or use one of the resort’s paddleboards or kayaks.
  • Spa Time – enjoy a one-hour facial or massage at the resort’s luxurious Ixora spa, using the resort credit applied to your room account.
• Friday: Sit poolside, book a snorkeling adventure, take the shuttle back to Tortola to tour and go shopping. Gather for dinner somewhere with newfound friends who love sailing and celebrate your last night in paradise.
• Saturday: Depart for home via resort, complimentary ferry to Trellis Bay, and taxi to airport departures.
