Choose a Standard Room or an Impressive Suite

Your Fast Track® to Power Cruising Course includes a one night stay in a Standard Room at the Westin (a Marriott Bonvoy resort), and the per room daily resort fee for that night. To give you some time to relax from your travels and enjoy all this friendly resort and the area has to offer, you might want to add an extra night or two at the Westin before or after your course starts. Here is a description of accommodations choices:

  • Standard Rooms (445 sq. ft): King-bed or two double beds, spacious bathroom, private screened balcony, and mini fridge.
  • One-Bedroom Suites (790 sq. ft.): King-bed and pullout queen sofa bed, full kitchen with stainless steel appliances and granite countertops, living/dining room, 2 flat screen TVs, washer/dryer (in most suites) and private screened balcony.
  • Two-Bedroom Suites (1338 sq. ft.): 1 king and 2 queen beds, 2 full bathrooms, full kitchen with living/dining room, 3 flat screen TV’s washer/dryer (in most suites) and private screened balcony.

Our Fast Track® to Power Cruising Cape Coral boating course is taught aboard a 37′ Fontaine Pajot powercat, based in Tarpon Point Marina right at the resort. Your week aboard takes you through the waterways of SW Florida, with stops at the popular Cabbage Key and other fun harbors and anchorages. At the marina you’ll find a variety of fun boutique shopping stores, and many dining options. Great restaurants are within walking distance or a short ride from the resort. Here are just a few:

  • Pinchers Crab Shack – laid-back seafood eatery with dining at water’s edge
  • Gather – offering breakfast, lunch and dinner plus organic coffee, takeout lunches for boaters and a gastro bar with craft food and cocktails created from scratch
  • Rumrunners – seafood and steak with outdoor dining on the water
  • Fathoms – eclectic pub with upscale atmosphere

How to Get to the Westin Cape Coral Resort at Marina Village

The resort is 18.5 miles from Southwest Florida International Airport (RSW). All national car rental agencies are available at the airport in addition to taxis and Uber. Punta Gorda Airport (PGD) is 32 miles (about 50 minutes) away. Tampa (TPA) and Miami (MIA) airports are each about 3 hours away.
