Want to be a power boat skipper and show those you go boating with how much you can handle on your own? Even if you have some experience on small power skiffs or have taken a basic powerboat course or learned from a loved one or friend, this Fast Track® power boat course is the best way to get your power boat skills and knowledge up to speed. At course end you’ll feel really good about being in charge of a 40′-50′ power cat!
Earn Three Certifications in One Week in the Live Aboard Sailing Course!
If you have keelboat sailing experience and can confidently steer and crew in all positions on a mid-sized sailboat of at least 26 feet, you may take the Live Aboard Cruising course (OSS 103/104) without the two-day Learn to Sail portion (OSS 101). However, that assumes you already have US Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification. If you do not have US Sailing Basic Keelboat Certification you will need to take and pass the Online Learn to Sail Course produced by Offshore Sailing School and the Boat US Foundation; then submit your certificate of completion and a resume for review. If approved, you may then sign up for just the Live Aboard Cruising Course, and take the US Sailing Basic Keelboat test (additional fee) which is a prerequisite before you can take the US Sailing Basic Cruising and Bareboat Cruising tests administered during the Live Aboard Cruising Course.

- US Sailing Basic Keelboat textbook sent in advance
